When it comes to choosing presents for those we love it’s not always easy to find something special. However, if you know they have a particular interest, then you have a much higher chance of finding something they will love. That’s where these gift ideas for crafters come in. They cover a wide range of budgets, so you can find something just right and all can be delivered direct to your door or to the door of the person you are purchasing the gift for – easy peasy! Let’s get shopping.
Craft Kits
Craft kits are a great idea as they allow someone to do more of what they enjoy or try something new. You don’t have to worry about buying all the tools necessary as its all inside the kit, so your loved one can literally open it and start crafting.
Not On The High Street have some amazing craft kits that cover all types of projects. You can browse their craft kits here.
I has picked out just a couple of my favourites below.
First up, this gorgeous Baby Penguins Felt Craft Kit.
Next, this beautiful Rose Gold Tin Candle Making Kit.
Craft Magazines
For a gift that keeps on giving try a subscription to a craft magazine. These are usually not that expensive and last year round.
Mollie Makes is a gorgeous magazine (one of my absolute faves) that offers a wide range of crafting projects. You could also look at Simply Knitting, Simply Crochet, Simply Sewing or many more. See a wide range here.
Crafting Equipment
If your budget is a little higher then you may want to push the boat out and get your loved one something super helpful. i remember that for my 18th birthday I asked for, and got, a sewing machine, and it was seriously one of my most loved and most used presents. The great thing about gifts for crafters is that it doesn’t matter about age or ability, if the person is interested in crafting they are going to get so much out of the gift.
Sewing Machine
So, first up let’s pick a great all-round sewing machine. My nan was a seamstress and she sewed on a foot peddle Singer back in the 1920s and 30s. They are a little more high tech these days but I still love this brand and this one is also Amazon’s Choice so you know they will have good feedback. It’s the Singer 4423.
Cricut Machine
For those who love papercrafts and making clothes and homewares, a Cricut machine is high on the list of must-haves. You can make oh so many beautiful things with a Cricut. Not convinced? Head to their inspiration page to see just what I mean. Crafting heaven! For a full range of their products, head here.

Craft Subscription Boxes
This is a great way for your loved one to try new crafts but you can also choose the type of craft you know they love if you want to narrow it down.
Cratejoy offers an amazing range of craft boxes to try and you can choose just one or a longer term subscription. From art through to scrapbooking, felt crafts, jewellery making and so much more. Check them all out here.

Craft Books
Finally, is there anything better than sitting down and browsing through a craft book or ten! With this you might just have to browse through the craft section on Amazon to find something inspirational. Or, to make it easy on yourself why not send your loved one an Amazon gift card so they can buy what they love.
Need some more inspiration? Here are a couple of books I love.
