I’ve been slightly obsessed with miniatures this year, due to my ongoing dollhouse makeover project, so I was itching to put this tutorial together for you! This craft is perfect for little ones, or for adults that are young at heart.

Materials you will need:

– Tiny envelopes (via a template or purchased)
– Scrap paper
– Valentine stickers
– Thin tipped pens and markers
– Scissors
– Tape or glue (for assembling envelopes)

Step 1 If you don’t have access to purchasing miniature envelopes, such as those that come with small gift cards, there are plenty of free templates on Pinterest that you can print, cut out and assemble such as these. I found a royalty free template and made my own (pictured here).

Step 2 Create your mini valentine cards! Scrap paper is perfect for this, such as leftover watercolor paper, card stock on construction paper. Cut out small hearts, or a rectangle that can be folded into a greeting card.

Step 3 Decorate your mini valentines using gel pens, markers or decorative stickers. In the U.S., Micheal’s and A.C. Moore offers value packs of valentine stickers this time of year. Internationally, Flying Tiger always offers cute heart stickers for decorating!

Step 4 Write a mini message on your valentine. I used office dot stickers on the back of my heart valentine to create a nice space for writing a message.

Step 5 Distribute your mini valentines to dolls, stuffed animals or your pet bunny or hedgehog! My husband will be receiving one of these mini greetings on Valentine’s Day next to his cup of tea 😉
