Back in February, and I am finding it hard to believe it was that long ago, I chose drawing as the craft of the month to try. I don’t know if any art novices out there had a go but I have been doing some little sketches and colour drawings every since. I find it very relaxing and, because of the freedom it involves, you can try out a lot of new things and not worry too much about whether they work or not.
I would like to take it on to the next level and thus I was pleased to hear that Craftsy have started a range of Fine Art classes. These are a mixture of drawing and painting classes and I am definitely going to give one of them a go – just haven’t decided which one yet. When I do, I will write a review here so you can see how I got on.
I have done some Craftsy courses before and I don’t doubt that the quality will be very good. What I love about them is that you can work in your own time, you can rewind (keeping it old school there with my tape analogy! ) the class if you don’t understand a section, you can ask questions of the teacher and more importantly I can do it from the privacy of my own home, so no-one can see any results that look like my rabbit may have painted them 😉
If you want to give any of the six classes a go, or find out more info, then head over and take a look. If anyone else tries one out, I would love to hear how you get on.
