I would love to win this book because I have 5 children who are gradually growing up. It would be great to renovate and redecorate the room now there’s no longer any risk of grubby finger marks everywhere, and less and less piles of large toys all over the place. A more grown up feel would be great, and I need some inspiration!

I have read about this book on several blogs. The bloggers adore it and I have been so envious. I love the idea of individual homes loving put together by their owners not relying on the big stores or fashions and hope to make my home reflect me and my loves. I have put it the book on my birthday list but my birthday is ages away!

I’d love to win the book because I moved from Germany to the US after taking care of my Mom who died from cancer and I am still in the process of
trying to make myself a home here, bringing colors and good mood into the house. Sweeping away the sad thoughts, starting over.
The style looks cozy, fresh and very inspiring to me… like spring.

I first heard about this book by reading the yvestownn blog and of course I trust everything coming from there! So I started looking into it and I was so amazed by the amount of inspiration I found! The style is fresh, cosy, funky and delicious as if I swallowed a spoonful of sunshine and would love to bring something of that in my home and share It with my loved ones.

I have not seen this book before, but it looks fab! I have just moved back home to my mums for a period of time and am stuck in a room with a mish-mash of furniture and have been trying to figure out how to tie it all together by redecorating… But also how to bring the room together by maybe painting the furniture or with some soft furnishings. Not really sure where to start so this book would be really inspiring! Plus I just love to do little projects, but never know what to do for lack of knowledge or just needing some inspiration!

  14. Silvia says:

I currently live in a permanent building site. We are hoping to complete the renovations next year. I would love to win this Book in order to get Idea’s for the most important part of the House for me…. The Dinning/Kitchen/living area. Both my Partner and me love meaningful handmade and often re-purposed furnishings and from this Book I hope to get even more inspiration to create a wonderful home.
