Do you need some help with a craft you are working on? Or want to learn new tips and tricks to finish projects that you’ve been trying to complete? Craftsy workshops could be just the answer you have been searching for. Visitors to the Craftsy website can simply click on the Workshops tab for access to a variety of great Craftsy workshops.
Craftsy workshops are essentially detailed tutorials for crafters that need a little help taking their craft projects from good to great. The workshops are step-by-step tutorials by top crafters in the industry, like authors, TV hosts and craft business owners. Signing up for a workshop gets you unlimited access to these experts, as well as a wealth of information and resources.
Learn Alongside The Community
Workshops also allow crafters to join in on a crafting community and craft along with other Craftsy members working on similar projects. The workshops are designed with the crafter in mind. Easy-to-follow instructions, high-quality photos and tips are just part of the Craftsy workshop experience. Participants in a Craftsy workshop can also ask questions to the designer teaching the workshop, other Craftsy members participating in the workshop, and add their own tips and advice to help out other crafters.
Work At Your Own Pace
In the Craftsy workshop, members will be able to move along in the workshop at their own pace. The screen is very use-friendly, with areas to Ask A Question, Add a Tip, Make a Note, Start a Discussion, Rate and Review the course. Best of all, access to the workshop never expires, so that members can revisit any part of the workshop they need to, review notes later on, or get in touch with other workshop members when needed.
What’s Crafts Are Covered?
Workshops are currently offered for Crocheting, Jewelry, Knitting, Quilting and Sewing. As the site evolves, so will the workshops. Current workshop offerings range in price from around US $10 to US $16. Each workshop has a detailed description about what will be covered in the workshop, information about the designer, materials needed to make the craft, and the basic skills required to be successful with the workshop. A skill level meter makes it easy to see if you will be able to follow along with the steps, or if you need to find a project that is better suited to your current skill level.
