***Today’s giveaway is now closed and the lucky winner, drawn by random number generator is……Ainslie, who left the following comment…..
“my biggest mistake is an oft repeated one of always sewing one bit of a sleeve or a collar the wrong way – and I will have triple checked it and then I need to unpick it – always after I have done at least two lines of stitching!!”
Congrats Ainslie, I will be mailing you shortly. Still plenty of time to win other prizes everyone, so please keep entering***
Day 8 Brings us a cute little book, which would make a great stocking filler for any Knitter friends or family member.
Keep Calm & Cast On: Good Advice for Knitters by Erika Night is jammed pack full of quotes, quips and both funny and wise advice to help out a knitter in a crisis. It also shares wisdom on why knitting is so good for us and the calming, therapeutic qualities it has to soothe the mind. A great little book for any knitters library and one that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
I have one copy of the book to give away. Anyone can enter this giveaway, just bear in mind if you are outside the UK it may take a little longer to reach you, but I am running the competition now so that it should have plenty of time to reach anyone before the Christmas season begins in earnest.
